THE TRAIN OF BANDS

The problems of the industry on the left bank, the consequent social crisis and the challenges that Basque society had faced since the mid-80s of the 20th century were reflected in the music.

Various groups emerged with protest songs, resulting from exhaustion from many broken promises and the lack of opportunities.

They had an unprecedented musical expression, and the lyrics of these songs, corrosive, did not leave indifferent. They were characterized by their anti-consumption, anti-nuclear, anti-system, anti-repression, antimilitarist, and anti-sexist positions… with a clear rejection of accepting the imposition of a collapsing society.

On this Web, you can find some examples of it.
